Yung Rapunxel was from the collaboration with Azealia Banks for Fashion Night Out. It was only available online and at a MAC store in NYC. I bought it at the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale last month.
I really love the deep purple with red undertone shade but I am so disappointed in the finish. I’m glad I didn’t buy this lipstick at full pop.
I normally do not have a problem with MAC’s amplified finish but in the case of Yung Rapunxel, it applies very uneven, bleeds easily, and just makes me look like a hot mess!
Here’s what Yung Rapunxel looks like on the lips. This is right after application.
The color is definitely something I would wear but I just cannot will not wear this lipstick. It’s too much of a hassle.
